Flight 4590 – N.Y.C. to Berlin

Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers

Eric is staring at a picture on his desk. Depicting a luxurious cruise ship called Deutschland. Wet-eyed, cruises into memories when it was about spending his Honey Moon with Jessica.

Eric & Jessica had met in Berlin when both did their PH.D. Immediately they realized that one wonderfully made for each other. Finishing, Jessica flew to N.Y.C. to arrange abeyances and would have returned back to get married.

Everything was arranged, City Hall, Wedding Dinner and a cruise trip to South America onboard Deutschland.

Eric was waiting at the airport of Berlin when a fateful new whispered. Flight 4590 was crushed on takeoff in Paris. No survivors.

Welcome! Wonderful story of love and heartbreak. It is tragic that the flight she was on to go and meet him to get married, crashed and she was killed. Such a tragedy! Great story and thank you for participating in Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers.

Unfotunately, it’s true. My story is fiction but the event of the crash happened. In 2000 this specific flight (4590) of a charter flying from N.Y.C. to Germany (I don’t know the airport) with passegers that flew to meet the cruise ship Deutschland crushed on Paris airport… Yes it’s tragic, indeed! You may find the report in google.
